(COP)
Introduction:
It is the type of inferential lung disease, which causes inflammation in our air sacs and lungs, in the previous it is called as bronchiolitis obliterans organizing pneumonia, Cryptogenic organizing pneumonia is often occurs such as flu-like-poor health, it can affect to any person, most people that occur COP is contain the risk of heart disease.
Causative agent:
Cryptogenic
organizing pneumonia is the caused by organized pneumonia such as viral infections,
toxic gases, medications, gastro esophagus reflux, radiation therapy and
connective tissue disorder, the conditions which is linked with cryptogenic
pneumonia include such as:
1) Lymphatic
system cancer
2) Lung
cancer
3) Red blood
cell cancer
Symptoms:
Symptoms of
Cryptogenic pneumonia contain few weeks or months, it also appears like flu,
most of the people contain symptoms such as:
1)
Conciseness of breath
2) Dry cough
3) Weight
loss
If this type
of disease is move ahead, the shortness of breath is occurred when your are at
rest, you contain this type of symptoms like:
1) Chest
pain
2) Joint
pain
3) Night
sweats
4) Coughing
up blood
Diagnosis:
Cryptogenic
organizing pneumonia is diagnosed by physical exam, other tests and contains
pulmonary functioning test, other conditions contain similar symptoms such as:
1) Secondary
organizing pneumonia ( due to
infection , medications)
2) Bacteria , Fungal or viral pneumonia
3) Chronic
lung diseases
It contains
many tests used to diagnose the cryptogenic organizing pneumonia.
1) Chest-X- Ray:
This test is
used to make the image of your lungs, this image is too helped out the
diagnosis of Cryptogenic organizing pneumonia.
2) High resolution CT (computed
tomography) scan (HRCT):
This test is used to takes multiple X-rays of your chest to observe the lungs and inflammation that is caused by COP.
3) Bronchoscopy with Broncho alveolar
lavage ( BAL):
This test
contains sterile saline solution by a thin tube through light and camera on the
end, in this test in which we collect sample fluid from your lungs.
4) Lung biopsy:
In this test
used to removes a lung tissue, sometimes it used as surgical test to detect more lung
tissue.
5) Pulmonary function testing:
In this test used to that how well your lungs work.
COP is
treated by corticosteroids, such as prednisone, which takes medication time about
3 to 6 months at higher doses, Cy toxic medications like cyclophosphamide is
used for the treatment of COP, Macrolide which contain 14-to-15-member ring
structure is used for the treatment of patient of mild COP.
